Massachusetts Attorney
Attorney Lissette Riverol immigrated to the United States from Cuba. She attended Florida International University, where she received a double Bachelors in Arts. Her majors were Philosophy and Political Science, both of which she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Attorney Riverol attended law school at the University of Miami. She graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree. Upon Law School graduation, Attorney Riverol relocated to Boston MA, where she attended Suffolk University Sawyer Business School. At Suffolk she received her Masters in Business Administration degree, with a concentration in management and organizational behavior, with the Magna Cum Laude honors.
Attorney Riverol has obtained and received various recognitions during her scholastic career. During undergraduate she was named to the Dean’s List in all three years of her studies for her scholastic achievement. She was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society as a Philosophy Fellow. She was an officer of Phi Sigma Tau Philosophy Honor Society and Secretary of Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honor Society). She was also an active member of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-law Co-educational Fraternity. Some of her extracurricular activities included Relay for Life membership and participating as a Student Judiciary Committee Justice. She was Copy Editor of “The Beacon” (bi-monthly student publication) and member of “Who is Who Among American Students.”
As a law student she participated in the Prestigious Litigation Skills Program at the University of Miami School of Law, concentrating in Criminal Law. She received numerous recognitions from her professors, evaluating attorneys and judges, for her case management and presentation skills. She was also very active in the Phi Alpha Delta Law Student Fraternity Chapter.
During her master’s program she was also widely recognized by faculty and administration for her impressive skills in team leadership, business managements and case presentation.
Aside from her academic accomplishments, Attorney Riverol has studied and acquired fluency in two languages, Italian and Spanish, the last being her native language.
