Attorney Mansur joined the firm in 2007. He has experience with tax dispute litigation through representing individuals and businesses with tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and various state tax authorities. Attorney Mansur also has experience with unclaimed property disputes and administration as well as securities litigation. He focuses his practice on business law, estate planning, estate & trust administration, real estate, and tax planning.
Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Mansur was a state tax auditor for the State of Maine (1992-1999) auditing all sizes of businesses from sole proprietorships to Fortune 500 corporations for corporate income, fuel excise, and sales and use tax liabilities. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the States of Maine and Massachusetts and worked in the Multistate Tax Group for the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche, LLP (2002-2004) and helped launch the State and Local Tax Group for the regional firm of Baker Newman Noyes (2004-2005).
Attorney Mansur is a member of the Bars of Massachusetts (2004) and Illinois (2002) (inactive). He is a graduate of DePaul University School of Law (2002), and the University of Southern Maine (Cum Laude) (BS Accounting) (1991).
Attorney Mansur is a member of several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and American Bar Association.
